America in 1964 is undergoing a very turbulent period in its life. Hitler's victory in Europe and the nuking of Pearl Harbor seriously damaged America's prestige in the world. This especially shocked America's political system which saw the rise of various third parties, culminating in the National Progressive Pact, a big-tent of various political factions. In 1964, two candidates of wildly different political views run against each other. Senator Wallace F. Bennett of Utah, and Senator Robert F. Kennedy of Massachusetts.
Both candidates are broadly popular with the American people, but Kennedy has to make sure not to go overboard with his rhetoric or he could lose a chunk of support! The issues of the day are, the South African war, Kennedy's Assassination, Nixon's Resignation and Civil Rights.
Hello everybody, this is WNDIUA here, I just wanted to say thank you for playing my mod! I recieved some good feedback on Muskie and I felt inspired to make a TNO mod, as TNO is one of my favorite alternate-history scenarios ever. Big thanks to killeritch and rmngaming5068 for help with this further reading section you are reading right now, The Kennedy side will release at some point in the future, although its not a big priority, so probably not soon. Its taken alot out of me to make this whole project basically on my own with little prior javascript experience, but like so many others, I've managed. But anyways enough rambling, thank you for playing.

"description": "
Wallace Foster Bennett is many things, a radical is not one them. Bennett is currently the senator of Utah and has held that position for little over a decade, starting his term in 1950. Before entering politics, Wallace worked at his family's Ford Motors dealership in Salt Lake City, where he became its president from 1939 to 1950. He soon ran and was elected to the senate next year.
Wallace represents the conservative reaction to the growing extremism in America, a member of the Church of the Latter-Day Saints, or the Mormon Church. He was able to prevail over Democratic Challenger Lyndon B. Johnson in the primaries, but it was a close fight, so Wallace is gonna need some party unity
Bennett's main drawbacks is that he tries to not rock the boat too much, as he puts it. Because of this, he rarely excites the average voter unlike Kennedy, which could cause some slippage. His nonchalance about civil rights could raise eyebrows from those in the northeast if its not handled properly.

\"I'm tired of chasing people.\"
Robert Francis Kennedy is the senator of Massachusetts and brother of beloved John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963 after Nixon's resignation. Robert Kennedy recently switched parties from the Republican-Democrats after Nixon's veto of the Civil Rights act, which infuriated Kennedy. Kennedy then ran and won the National Progressive Pact nomination for President this year.
Kennedy is very popular with progressives and liberals and his base of support is located in New England. While he might not want to, Kennedy might have to pull the \"dead-brother\" card if he wants to get a leg up on Bennett, who starts off leading in the polls.
Kennedy supports the Civil Rights act and other liberal/progressive measures of the day, which would make it extremely tough to crack even the border states in the south, let alone the deep south. But can Kennedy rock the boat without everybody falling off?",
